Mixed Media SN March Pen Pal card
I created this card using multiple stamps and techniques. Flower Image: On watercolor paper, I white heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers large image using WOW white embossing powder and VersaMark pad. I then used my miracle brushes to apply the following Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks: Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet and Peeled Paint; spritzed generously with Tattered Angels glimmer mist, and set aside to dry. Die cut when completely dried. Background: Sponged TH Distress Oxide ink in Worn Lipstick on a white piece of 4"x 5.25" cardstock. A slightly dampened Miracle Brush made this easier and helped create an ombre effect. Heat set. Stamped on sponged CS with Catherine Pooler's Love Note Background stamp in TH Distress Oxide Walnut Stain. Mixed Heidi Swapp metallic texture paste with TH Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, applied over Catherine Pooler's Mod Squared Stencil on parts of background. Let dry.
